… Now those 5 were MAGIC together, and 8 Simple Rules thrived. The first season was pretty much a success and it averaged nearly 11 million viewers. To put that in to perspective, TBBT didn’t reach that mark until season 3 & How I Met Your Mother NEVER matched that average. It definitely looked set to be a major player for abc, but sadly Ritter only managed to film 3 episodes of Season 2 before tragically losing his life on September 11 2003. They tried to keep the Vintage Canyonlands National Park Utah – Green River Utah Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this momentum going, bringing in James Garner and David Spade was how they hoped to keep things fresh, but unfortunately John Ritter was the real star of the show from the start and losing the biggest selling point meant the show was destined to fail, and after the third season it was cancelled in the middle of 2005. This led to Kaley having potentially more time for her role in Charmed (Sept 2005-May 2006), but ultimately with that being axed too and her two main TV roles gone Kaley was pretty much left with nothing to do.. Thus the timing was near enough perfect for her to jump in to her role as Penny in 2007, and the rest is pretty much history. Had 8 Simple Rules continued then she probably wouldn’t have had the time to take another main role for a show for a different Big 4 network. Had her role in Charmed been successful, and the rumoured spin-off occured, then again, she probably wouldn’t have needed Big Bang Theory once more, maybe we would have had a different actress as Penny, maybe the show would have never taken off, we will never know!

On the Vintage Canyonlands National Park Utah – Green River Utah Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this other side, things may still have turned out the way they did even if we hadn’t lost John Ritter. There’s only so much that could have been done with 8 Simple Rules, and by the end of the show Kaley had turned 20 (Amy Davidson was in her mid 20s too, despite playing her younger sister). There’s every chance it wouldn’t have made it past a 4th season (so another year) as the concept of having an over protective father by that stage would seem a bit less appealing to an adult, which would have left Kaley free around the same time as she was at the end of Charmed anyway! Is she a good actress? Hmm… She’s appealing, but I wouldn’t say she’s shown a broad scope of talent in her career so far. She’s decent enough at her comedic roles, but her failed attempt to be a bit more serious in Charmed pretty much shows that she’s only really suited to specific typecasts. But with the cult popularity of TBBT she’s always going to be able to live off the role of Penny above all else.
