Imcredible, and not bowing to Hollywood’s wants or desires for her , she has consistently done things Winonas way, picking roles not for their surefire Oscar nods( to date she has ONLY 2 nominations) or their superstar surety but roles that she feels she can bring the best out of.

In my opinion (of course biased because she was always my first love lol) she has never had a role that’s been just truly bad or even remotely bad. Factor in the likes of Dianne Weist and a ““we are not the breakfast club anymore” bully in Anthony Michael Hall, plus of course the last film role of the legendary Vincent Price all directed by a man who refused to believe in his own superstardom at that point in Tim Burton, Edward Scissorhands was such an amazing movie for me as a kid and it has resonated on so many levels ever since.
